Neues Trainings- und Diagnostikzentrum in der Aigner-Rollett-Allee 13 feierlich eröffnet: BIG-Geschäftsführer Hans-Peter Weiss übergab den Schlüssel des nachhaltigen Baus an Rektor Peter Riedler – im Beisein des Wissenschaftsministers Martin Polaschek. New training and diagnostics centre ceremonially opened at Aigner-Rollett-Allee 13: Hans-Peter Weiss, CEO of BIG, handed over the key of the sustainable building to Rector Peter Riedler – in the presence of Martin Polaschek, Minister of Science. The building will expand the competence in the field of human movement science and sports science research.

Sowohl beim Besuch von Botschafter Vasyl Khymynets als auch bei der Veranstaltung mit Botschafterin Lindsay Skoll stand die Situation des kriegsgebeutelten Landes im Vordergrund. >> mehr erfahren
The Ambassador of Ukraine and the Ambassador of the United Kingdom visited the University of Graz in mid-May. Both the visit of Ambassador Vasyl Khymynets and the event with Ambassador Lindsay Skoll focused on the situation of the war-torn country.

Neugestaltung
Die neue Website der Universität Graz ist seit 10. Mai 2023 online. Somit ist die erste Phase im Projekt abgeschlossen. Die Seiten präsentieren die Universität zeitgemäß und funktional in einem digitalen Schaufenster. Nun beginnt die Überführung und Migration der Fakultäts-, Instituts-, Zentren- und Projektseiten vom alten in das neue Design. Unterstützung gibt es dabei von der "Relaunchbox". Vier geschulte Webredakteur:innen stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. >> mehr erfahren
The new website of the University of Graz has been online since 10 May. This means that the first phase of the project has been completed. The new web pages present the University in a contemporary and functional way, in a digital shop window. Now the transfer and migration of the web pages of faculties, institutes, centres and projects from the old to the new design begins. Support for this is provided by the "Relaunchbox". Four trained web editors are on hand to offer advice and support.

Neuerung
Mit August 2023 bekommt die Universität Graz ein neues Bewerbungsmanagementsystem. Die Umstellung ist nötig, da das derzeitige mittlerweile datenschutzrechtliche Lücken aufweist. Durch die Neuimplementierung des Systems sind allerdings zwischen Anfang Juli und Ende August keine Ausschreibungen möglich! Alle Stellen, die bis 1. Oktober 2023 besetzt werden sollen, müssen daher bereits bis 19. Juni gemeldet werden. Die letzte Job-Annonce im alten Tool wird am 5. Juli veröffentlicht, die erste im neuen am 23. August 2023.
Anträge für Stellenausschreibungen sind ab Juli wieder möglich. Nähere Infos dazu gibt es im Personalressort.
In August 2023, the University of Graz will get a new application management system. The changeover is necessary because the current tool has gaps in terms of data protection. Due to the implementation of the new system, no job advertisements will be possible between the beginning of July and the end of August! All positions that are to be filled by 1 October 2023 must therefore be reported by 19 June. The last job advertisement with the use of the old tool will be published on 5 July 2023, the first one in the new system on 23 August.
Applications for job advertisements will be possible again from July.

Die Vereinbarkeit von Familie und Beruf wird für Arbeitgeber:innen immer wichtiger. Die Uni Graz bietet mit unikid und unicare bereits seit vielen Jahren qualifizierte Programme. Dafür wurde die Universität vor kurzem erneut mit dem Gütezeichen für eine familienfreundliche Hochschule erfolgreich re-zertifiziert. Die feierliche Übergabe des Zertifikats durch Bundesministerin für Frauen und Familie, Susanne Raab, fand kürzlich in Wien statt. >> mehr erfahren
The reconciliation of family and career is becoming increasingly important for employers. With unikid and unicare, the University of Graz has already been offering a number of qualified programmes for many years. The University was recently re-certified with the quality label for a family-friendly university. The ceremonial presentation of the certificate by the Federal Minister for Women and Family, Susanne Raab, took place in Vienna.
